This was a replacement for non adjusting pedestal.
The 9 inch base and the bolt holes lined up perfect.

Comments about Springfield Marine Adjustable Height Pedestal:

Well made but where do you get the 3" travel?? Mine has 6" of travel. That would make it 12.75" to 18.75". That makes it a much more desirable column.

Comments about Springfield Marine Adjustable Height Pedestal:

i bought this ped for a captains chair on a tahoe pontoon boat it was too tall so i cut it down which i dont recommend it was a pain .For pontoons you need a shorter ped, which you cant find if you want one thats adjustable.I wish there was a power adjustable ped that was shorter but couldnt find one .I shotened this one to start at 10 inches and extends to about 14 it works good now. I dont know why most pontoon boats come with such short seat peds you cant see how to navigate.
