        Unfortunately this cannot be installed without having access to the back of the installation location. Nobody, not even the manufacturer's hotline could answer that question before ordering. Could have been terrific but not for my purpose as a fender tie off.

                  You'll need to drill a hole for the center then for the mounting screws. The bottom of the stainless cap sits flush with the fiberglass surface of the boat when not in use.
