    The 30 lb variety did not cast well with Al-oxide guides. After only a few uses the line was frayed all over, and I lost several fish to break offs. I couldn't wait to get this braid off my reel. Since buying a Powerful competitors braid, I have had none of these problems. If you make the mistake of buying this stuff at least it was inexpensive. I will not buy EZBraid again!

                  Yes you can use this line on a Spincaster reel. I use the Spiderwire 65lb test braided line in my Shakespear spincaster with mounted on ugly stick, works perfectly!!!
