Product Description
spiderwire SpiderWire Stealth Braid combines mono manageability and body with the ultra thin diameter, superior strength, and ultimate sensitivity that you are looking for in a premium braided line. Due to its Teflon treated micro-fibers, Stealth Braid is super quiet and flies through the guides giving you an even longer cast without cutting into your rod guides. Stealth holds its color better than other braids. Its round shape reduces backlashes and resists digging-in on reels. 125-yd. spool. Moss Green.

I use braid 75% of the time and am gaining confidence the more I use it. Took me several years to work out its idiosyncracies, and it still frustrates me once and a while, but it offers so many advantages that it far outweights any negatives. Stealth is one of my favorites and I don't agree with some of the comments. If you tie a knot properly and make sure fraying at the end doesn't work it's way down to the knot you will not have a problem. I have not found any weak spots.
It's tough, doesn't stretch, and delivers great sensitivity, but I have found guides generally discourage its use because it tangles easily and can cut their hands when landing a fish.
On balance I would highly recommend Spiderwire Stealth.

The line worked when you used a fly, bubble and a leader or a pistal pete but then you switch to a rooster tail, kastmaster ect without a leader it wouldnt work. Also in the time i used it the line began to fade in color and made it easier for fish to see. I switch to mono line and had no issues after that.

Comments about SpiderWire® Stealth™ Braid Fishing Line, Moss Green:

Easily the STRONGEST line I have ever encountered. I have literally cast my line accidentally into a tree, and pulled as hard as i can, pulling my lure free several times, cleaning small twigs/leaves off the trees, and i've never even had to retie a knot. i will never ever use anything else (i am using 15lb test) Also, this cast so ridiculously far its asinine. The knots CAN be a little difficult to tie, but once you get a good knot on, its over. FISH ON.

I have been using this stuff for about two years. I can't beleive I waited so long to switch. The guy saying he thought it had bad braids is crazy. I just think he needs to learn a new knot or two. I have never lost a fish because of the line only because I was fishing wrong.
