Great ammo for your short barrel 38 S&W. Good accuracy, good for home protection. From other information, this ammo was developed for the NYPD to use in their S&W 38 short barrel Pistols to provide maximum fire power. Although you would not want to use the plus "P" for usual target practice in an older S&W but for sure in a CCW use.
