The nubuck leather upper and handcrafted vulcanized rubber shell are seam-sealed for total waterproofness. The removable 9mm ThermoPlus felt InnerBoot lining traps heat next to your foot where it belongs. A thick rubber midsole insulates the boot from the cold ground, while the AeroTrac nonloading outsole provides sure footing. The wool/acrylic blend Sherpa pile snow cuff adds timeless styling. 2.5mm bonded felt frost plug. Rated to -40°F/-40°C. Imported.

    I work outside in the winter months and this boot keeps my feet dry and warm all day and it is comfortable. The only thing I have noticed is that it feels a little heavy but once used to the feel it is very comfortable.

      30 years ago I wore Sorels for work in Prudhoe Bay Alaska - they were great. Recently went hunting with a friend in Michigan and my feet got very cold so my wife bought me a new pair of Sorels for Christmas and I look forward to using them again because I know I can depend on them to keep my feet warm.

      I got these boots last year as a christmas gift. I asked for a different, manlier pair...but my girlfriend in her infinite wisdom decided to get me these. At first I thought they were a bit girly, but after a year of using them I love em. Absolutely 100% water proof, easy to spray off if you get into some mud, keep my feet/toes toasty for hours in the woods at 10 below, but won't make them sweat in the car. Mine are a bit darker then the ones pictured. My only complaint is I do have a little trouble getting my foot out of the bootie once in a while. Overall though, great boot...don't tell her...but she MIGHT have been right this time...

      I got these in the early to mid 1970's. i grew up on a farm and used them every day in the winter. they are versatile general purpose boots so i still use them almost every day in the winter, even though i live in town. i replaced the liners once or twice. after 25 to 30 years, i repaired a crack in the rubber with boat glue, the rubber eventually is slowly deteriorating in the stress points where the toe flexes but they still work. recently the leather tab that holds one of the metal "d" rings for the laces broke. i could fix it but it's time for a new pair. they are a little bulky and after walking long distances, the socks can gradually get pulled down. snow can get in when walking through deep drifts. not great for running in. great unlaced for casual walking around the yard.

        I've had an old of these for 15 years. Glad to see they haven't changed a thing on these other than the color of the leather. Excellent boot and my old pair just went out on me so I'll be getting these ASAP!

          Your feet stay warm and dry in slush and snow and the absolute best thing about them is the quick drying, easy to remove and put back inner lining.

          The lace up has hooks big enough that you can lace them with gloves on! Amazing boots at a great price. Every person that deals with snow, slush and ice should have a pair of these.
