Burner rusted out after 1.5 years of moderate use. Could not find replacement parts. Made some great meals but will try to find something heavier duty with our next one.

My smoker arrived well before Christmas as promised. After a little trial and error on cooking time, my smoked chicken turned out beautifully. The following week end I smoked a pork loin with the same great results. I would highly recommend this product for the casual week-end cooker.

I finally decided on a gas smoker to be able to maintain a regulated temperature throughout the night. The burner on this unit did not disappoint, it maintains a true, steady 200-225 range on the low setting (verified temp with an oven thermometer). However, I cannot give it five stars based on quality control and customer service. When I opened it and started assembling, the hardware pack was missing one of the bolts for a door fastener. After calling and explaining the problem, they shipped me out a whole sub pack of hardware that didnt even contain the bolt. The second time I called back, I received a complete door fastener set, but the bolts are slightly larger than the welded nuts on the box, so no chance of fitting. Going to Lowe's and fix the problem myself. Other than that, a pretty good experience.
