The 544 utilizes a three screw design with a 5-inch barrel, square-butt wooden grips, and a fluted cylinder. The Texas Wagon Train Commemorative 544 was issued in 1986 to commemorate the Texas Sesquicentennial, the150th anniversary of their admittance as a state. The handgun is marked "1836 Texas 1986" on the barrel and it comes with a velvet-lined, wooden display case.
