A:I'm not sure, but I'm guessing it's between 15 - 20 pounds. I am a 60-year-old, arthritic female camper who has no problem packing, assembling and repacking this cot by myself.Answered on 6/29/2009 by Camper Jane from Rochester NY
A:about 20 (twenty lbs) Too heavy to backpack but fantastic for everything else. Packs quite small for cotsAnswered on 7/11/2009 by cfp from Pittsburgh PA
Q:being make out of aluminum. I see a problem happening with this frame. If when some one sits on the edge will the frame bend?Asked on 2/15/2009 by mishaji from elgin il
A:I can't say for sure but if this was a wally world special, I'd have the same concern. This is a heavy duty from Gander Mt. ...if it is a light gauge tube, and bends ...I'd bet you'd get your money back and it would disappear from the line. I think this is good stuff and is offered at their competition's site (think big C).Answered on 2/26/2009 by mak from NY
A:I weight 175 and have used the same cot for 3 years. Sitting on the edge is not a problem. The cot doesn't even creak or quiver. The quality is excellent.Answered on 7/21/2009 by Camper Jane from .
A:No. I sat on the edge of the bed numerous times during my last camping trip. I weigh close to 300lbs and did not have any issues. I've only used it for 4 days and 3 nights in a row, so there might be an issue later, but I doubt it. This is a much more durable construction than other aluminum frame cots I've had in the past.Answered on 3/26/2009 by Walleye from Oak Ridge, MO
