The Sight-Rite Bullet Laser Bore Sighter by Sighting System Instruments takes the guesswork out of sighting your firearm for greater accuracy and reduces the amount of ammunition you use. Its precision machined brass casing is equipped with a high-performance laser beam to accurately sight your weapon. Standard shell casing diameter. Works for Pumps and Semi-Auto's, does not work with Break-Action shotguns. Includes three LR41 lithium button cell batteries.

    Makes sighting in a lot quicker!

    Great for saving lots of ammo when sighting in hunting scopes. Very bright light. Tool included to activate light is very small and hard to use.

        Used this in a remingron 870 12 gauge. after about 2 minutes of use to set scope went to the shooting range. Extra information it is a right handed gun and I am left handed and my son is right handed. We fired one shoot each. We both hit the target. I was just high of bullseye and he was just left of the bullseye. We were both with in 1"of bullseye and 2" of each other. My son has only fired a gun on three occasions.

          Great saver at the range. At 100 yards I was within 2 inchs of dead on. I check my scopes with this when I get to camp to make sure they are still on.

            I have used a laser sighting tool for my rifles but it does not accomodate shotguns. When I went to check my shotgun before deer season, the scope was way off - over 5" to the right. I decided to obtain the bullet bore sight to get it back on target before final tuning. I inserted the bullet into my shotgun, spent about 5 minutes dialing in the scope to the laser dot and then took it back to the range for final adjustments. It was dead on from the 1st shot and I did not have to adjust. I took the shotgun out on opening day and dropped an 8-pt from 60 yds., the scope was right on the money thanks to the bullet bore sight.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            This was great!!! I sighted in at 50 yards and then went to 100 yards. Used 8 slug all were within the kill zone

              i love this thing. the sight-rite lazer bore sighter it simple, fast and easy. i turned it on, loaded it in my shotgun just like a shot shell and 3 minutes later my scope was bore sighted. i did it in my living room, how easy is that? couldnt be easier. i love it, it only takes like 3 minutes to use.

                  i honestly dont know if it will be visible at 300 yards but you dont need it to shine that far. i used mine right in the living room(from like 20 feet), and when i shot my shotgun the first time it was only off by about 1 inch low and left at 100 yards.
