Comments about Sighting Systems Instruments Sighting System Instruments Sight-Rite™ Bullet Laser Bore Sighter:
I ordered this online and when it arrived I put the batteries in as the directions said, and it came on before I even screwed the lid back on. Once I put the lid on the light went out, and the directions said the screw until the light comes on..well I turned it until the screw fell out and it still didnt work. I sent it back and Gander Mt sent another very quickly. The problem was it worked exactly the same way... I returned them both for a refund, and wont buy another of those

A:
I would recommend starting at 50 yards and work my way out to 100 yards. You would want to use target paper that is somewhat reflective to pick up the laser.Answered on 4/10/2009 by Matt from Gander Tech
