Comments about Sighting Systems Instruments Sight-Rite .17-.50 Caliber Muzzle Laser Bore Sighter:
Tied to sight in my rifle and could never get it on target. Tried it several times. It would say it was on target but when the rifle was shot it was always off by a lot.

Comments about Sighting Systems Instruments Sight-Rite .17-.50 Caliber Muzzle Laser Bore Sighter:
I bought this several years ago and was very excited. Used it to try to sight in a 12 guage, 20 guage, .308 and 7 mm mag. It was worthless. I sighted in to the bulls eye with the laser and none of the guns hit a 2' x 2' target at 50 yards. Wasted a lot of ammo and time. Resighted the scopes with a gun vise looking down the barrel and that worked much better and easier. Do Not Waste Your Money and Time on this JUNK!

Comments about Sighting Systems Instruments Sight-Rite .17-.50 Caliber Muzzle Laser Bore Sighter:
Their packaging says " Works with all calibers .17 to .50" did not include adapters for my 9mm carbines. Documentation suggests that if the adapter does no fit, simply wrap with tape. Say what?

Comments about Sighting Systems Instruments Sight-Rite .17-.50 Caliber Muzzle Laser Bore Sighter:
We bought this because we thought we would be able to sight in all our guns. We could do this, however, we needed to be in a completly dark room, so you couldn't see anything anyway.
The lazer fits loosley in the chambers and the chord doesn't allow you to close the action.
Long story short, This thing is junk.

What is the effective range of the laser?Asked on 11/27/2008 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
PDF or HTML Not that I know of.
This system only gets you on paper, I took my system out and set up a target at 100yds and sighted it that way, that target that comes with the kit is worthless. You need to do this at dawn or dusk with low light, at 100yds in the day light the laser is hard to see.
If the lighting is right you can use this laser up to 200-250yds and more if the lighting outside is right. I only use my kit at dawn or dusk and I can see it well passed my target.Answered on 12/31/2008 by scottiB from Jacksonville,Fl
