When Sig Sauer introduced the Trailside, they brought the allure of an expensive target pistol to shooters who had previously been priced out. The unitized barrel and body thereby saving a pile on machining and fitting time and the plastic trigger was doubted by some, but the Trailside turned out to be competition-accurate at a price well below its high-end competitors. The Trailside has grooves cut into the top of the barrel to accept standard 22 rings and a polished blued barrel that helps the Trailside achieve its remarkable accuracy. The Trailside's polymer frame and magazine are lightweight and durable. This single-action pistol features a fixed blade front sight with an adjustble rear sight, target-style wooden grips, a 2-position safety, and a 10-round magazine and comes with the original factory grips. Its grips, metal, and bore are all in very good condition.
