The Sig Pro pistol was produced as a joint effort between two of Europe's most famous and respected arms companies, Sig Arms and J.P. Sauer & Son as one of the first polymer-framed handguns available from either company. The SP 2009 is the 9MM variant of the Pro and has been adopted by many law-enforcement agencies around the world. At its heart, the SP 2009 is a short recoil-operated, locked breech pistol that uses a traditional browning cam-operated locking system. The polymer frame is lightweight and can be easily modified using detachable grip panels. Sig Pro pistols are fitted with typical Sig Sauer frame-mounted decocker lever and with an automated firing pin safety. This double-action fixed 3-dot sights and includes the two 10-round magazines and the original factory case. Its grip, its metal, and its bore are all in excellent condition.
