Providing familiar handing with increased power, Sig Sauer has taken the proven features of the SIG516 and applied them into a potent AR-based rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm. Utilizing the short stroke pushrod operating system, an M1913 Mil-Std rail, a free-floating barrel, an aluminum forend, a telescoping stock, and a Magpul PMAG, the SIG716 is the rifle of choice when you require the power of a larger caliber carbine. With its adjustable piston operating system, users can fine-tune the rifle's gas flow for their ammunition, environmental conditions or suppressor use. The Precision model is fitted with a match-grade, 18-inch barrel with six-groove, 1 in 10" twist rifling. The free-floating forend is longer than the standard 716 forend with the gas block located farther forward. The standard single-stage trigger has been replaced with a match-grade, two-stage trigger. The lower receiver also features a Magpul UBR buttstock, which is more adjustable and easier to use with optics. This rifle features adjustable battle sights, an adjustable bipod, and a 20-round magazine and comes with the original factory hard case. Its stock, metal, and bore are all in very good condition.
