Comments about Sig Sauer SIG716 Patrol Centerfire Rifle:
I love this rifle, I use it mainly for the range of if I go camping off the grid.
However I'm not a fan of the people selling a costly rifle and failing to supply extra mags of any brand name in-store or online. If they did I would say go for it! Sadly thats not the case. One mag and only this barrel size is the issue, they need to sell upper assembly parts for range and hunting use.

Comments about Sig Sauer SIG716 Patrol Centerfire Rifle:
This rifle is a very high quality piece with magpul accessories. It does have some weight to it, but not unmanageable. Shoots nice and smooth with moderate recoil. Nice choice of weapon for obliterating groundhogs or coyotes.

Comments about Sig Sauer SIG716 Patrol Centerfire Rifle:
I'm writing this review to verify GM is very rarely releasing some of these rifles online, my purchase date was in early March of 2013 after the price jumped up a little. Very happy with the rifle and it is as expected, if you are looking at a 716 chance are you already know well what you are buying. Sig 716's are now equipped with the Magpul ACS-Storage stock, Miad grip, and a single 20LR Pmag. Also included are Ergo rail covers, a multi-point sling, and cable lock. Unfortunately the rifle does not include a soft or hard carrying case, just shaped styrofoam in a cardboard box, which along with a single mag is a bit chintzy given the price.

Comments about Sig Sauer SIG716 Patrol Centerfire Rifle:
I was extremely happy when I seen this Sig 716 on Gander's website. I ordered it and in two days it was at the local store. I have not shot it yet, waiting on a scope I ordered for it. Love the gun,it matches the Sig 516 I already had, the 716 is the big brother. Clean and cool running guns, Short stroke pushrod system is a plus. The Sig 716 chambered in 308 makes for a great long range carbine.
