I figured I would give my impressions of the P250 Subcompact 9mm. I have had the P250 for about 5 months now and have put about 500 rounds through it.

The first comment I will give is this gun takes practice. Order a pack of snap caps with it as the trigger pull is very different than most other models. The longer trigger pull is designed so as to keep it safe and not requiring a trigger. The largest problem people have with it is they expect it to fire the exact same as every other gun they have owned. This ultimately results in the person feeling the weapon is inaccurate. This is more in regards to the shooter not practicing the trigger and often drifting as the trigger is pulled due to not having a steady pull. Think of this gun more like a double action revolver and your aim will improve dramatically.

Secondly, I love this gun. The sights are great and the ability to change calibers is especially great in this time where ammunition is not always prevalent in certain calibers (Cough Cough 9 mm). The gun is easy to shoot with practice and is easy to take apart and clean and put back together. The modular aspect allows the user to buy other options that will make the gun have a whole difference purpose.

Another thing that is typically left out when it comes to reviewing Sigs is the similarity between all of the handguns they make. I have Sig Sauer Mosquito 22LR that I use for a plinker. The size of this gun is extremely close to the P250 even though it is a 1911 edition. It definitely makes it great being able to shoot 22LR as warmup and not blinking an eye when switching to my 9mm and above.

In summary, this gun is an amazing value in this time of uncertaint of gun laws. The ability to have 12 different variations with a little extra money makes it so you have the ability to prepare for any situation whether it is home defense or CCW.

Comments about Sig Sauer® P250® Subcompact Handgun:

Got my wife the p250compact 40s&w she picked it over a glock great gun i got the subcompact 40s&w because her mags work in it and with her mags only difference from compact to subcompact is a half inch on barrel and the trigger guard shape that makes the subcompact not lock in the compact sig holster thinking of buying the compact grip cutting front half inch its just plastic for that holster for winter carry my iwb holster fits great its a galco kingtuk for p220/p226/p228/p229 but fits the p250 fine both compact with rail and subcompact Looking forward to taking wife to range to see who shoots better since they almost are the same gun .this is my everyday carry price is great for that i don't want a high end gun that just going to get holster wear on it and look less then show quality and lose value hope this helps

Comments about Sig Sauer® P250® Subcompact Handgun:

I knew as soon as I had the P250 in my hand I would buy it. Perfect fit, easy to shoot, no kick. I have a bad right shoulder and I didn't want something that was going to uncomfortable to shoot. I had not shot a pistol in 20 years and it was more accurate than I could have hoped for. First time at the range 200 rounds all in kill zone no misfires. Good gun for a guy with small hands or a woman looking for protection. Also like the size and calibar change potential.

Comments about Sig Sauer® P250® Subcompact Handgun:

This is a great little pistol. One of the only drawbacks is that the subcompact frame may be too small for some people. That's not a problem with the P250, though, as there are kits to change out to compact and/or fullsize. With the addition of the caliber x-change kits, this pistol is fully customizable for daily concealed carry and/or home protection. I own a compact in 9mm and .40S&W and it shoots like a gem - not one jam with hundreds of rounds downrange. Bought one for my sister in subcompact (better for her hand size) and same feelings on her end. Quality gun.
