Product Description
sig_sauer The Sig M400 is a true AR-platform tactical rifle, designed for use in law-enforcement, military operations, or the sporting field, as well as in competitive shooting. The M400 provides unparalleled accuracy with a 16" chrome-lined and phosphate-coated 1 in 7" twist barrel for maximum durability and corrosion resistance. The M400's dependable direct-impingement gas operating system uses a rotating locking bolt. A 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum forged lower receiver adds to the rifle's rugged reliability. Other features include a fire-control selector, an adjustable stock, an A2-type flash suppressor and rear sight, a Mil-Spec muzzle brake, an ambidextrous magazine release, and a 30-round M16-style magazine.

          I could have purchased the flat rail but I like having the option of the included tactical rail with removable carry handle and sights. Will be removing and storing both and mounting a scope in the future.

                I have owned several gas impingement rifles, and this one surpasses them all. I have had absolutely no issues with the rifle through over 1500 rounds. While the platform is certainly not new, Sig has perfected it's overall feel. They have done their homework before entering the market with this rifle. If you are considering an AR, do yourself a favor and go SIG SAUER.

                  Well made rifle from sig, no problems at all as far as function. Can be found elsewhere, but i prefer to walk out with the rifle without driving for hours or having it delivered. The mag that comes with it is a used mil-spec 30 round clip, which operates without a hitch. If your looking for a quality ar/m4 style rifle, this one is among the best as far as price and reliability. the gun itself gets 5 stars, the price 3 stars. Overall 4 stars.
