Product Description
sig_sauer The legendary 1911 design has been brought into the 21st century with the refinement today's shooters demand. The Sig Sauer 1911 proves that close tolerances equal complete reliability and need not be incompatible in an off-the-shelf pistol. Sig Sauer has introduced clean, distinct lines that American shooters have embraced, while retaining the crisp trigger pull, classic ergonomics, and exceptional accuracy they expect.

Comments about Sig Sauer 1911 Ultra Two-Tone Handgun:

I own three 1911's and this one is by far the best I own. 300 rounds through it zero problems. My only suggestion is buying better magazines (I suggest Wilson Combat) they aren't bad but they won't last like the Wilson magazines will. Also, this 1911 is fitted which is huge for a gun in this price range. Colt and Kimber should take notes from this gun. If you are in the market for a 1911 I highly recommend this gun. You won't find a better 1911 on the market without paying a huge amount of money.

Comments about Sig Sauer 1911 Ultra Two-Tone Handgun:

This is my first 1911 and I have to say that despite all the trash talk online about their lack of reliability, I haven't experienced this with my Sig Sauer 1911 Ultra Two-Tone. It's rock-solid with just the right amount of tolerance built in. It's a snap to disassemble and easy to put back together again. No need for an idiot scratch patch either, so you won't see those crescent-shaped scratch marks on your pistol. Despite having a 3.3" barrel, it's very accurate and the recoil is surprisingly light. I'd looked at other .45 similarly sized, and found them wanting for one reason or another. The XDS just didn't feel right and kicked like a mule - but then again, it was a rental and I want to be fair to those XDS peeps out there who love theirs. Others, like the Kimber ultra carry were bee-yoo-tee-full guns - and I DO appreciate the carry-melt treatment... But not at a $500-$600 premium.

Compared to those, the Sig Sauer 1911 Ultra is an outstanding value.
