Good bags for the price. They cushion the rifle and actually reduce jump and because the rifle slides in them on recoil the reduce felt recoil. You'll need a carry bag of some sort for the pair. DO NOT FORGET THEM AT THE RANGE - they will be gone before you get back!

Also, you can use these in combination with a mechanical shooting rest such as the Case Guard series. If you take the rear rest off the Case Guard, and use the rear bag on the extended pistol rest, you can adjust the position to give you a very solid front/rear rest.
