This target is just what I was looking for! Light, small, and easy to transport. My main goal was to take this target and practice from my treestand in the woods - for me and my son. I also plan to use it as a decoy - it does look very realistic. Target stops arrows from my 57lb bow and easily stops my sons youth bow at 35 lbs. Target can take both ground and treestand shots. Smaller deer - so when it's time to take a shot at a live deer - it should be easier - a larger deer. I only shoot field tips at targets. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I value customer reviews when researching if I am looking to purchase something. Rather than flaming out of anger like many reviewers I will give accurate info for other customers deciding what fits the needs of each individual. The Shooter Buck is a "Shooter" for those on a budget that don't fling several arrows a day. Not that it won't hold up in the insert area I feel it will. It's just arrows are a little more difficult to remove then my Glendale buck. The insert was pulling out with my arrow almost everytime. Again it's not the most expensive 3-d target out there. Insert replacements are only $29 bucks so in today's market they are affordable. It will do the trick and will stop arrows without a problem. For the money it's what you could expect. Size is not huge but if your not proficient enough to hit this target where you are suppose to, you are not ready for the real deer. [...]

      Does not last. Me and my friends shot maybe 500 shots into it, and chunks came out. Only looks realistic on left or right sides. If you shoot it an inch or two outside the insert, arrow goes straight through, even when you tune your bow to 40 lbs.

        this is a great 3D target if you like shooting anorexic deer there is nothing to it. im shooting a new bowtech invasion set at 70lbs. and from 40yards my arrows darn near pass clean thru all but maybe 5-6 inches also after shooting the vitals and you go to remove your arrows the insert comes out or if you turn the target around you knock the insert out on the first shot. what happend to the good targets that they made 10-15 years ago. not happy at all with this product

            We are a family of 5 with 4 archers in the house. We put a ton of arrows in this thing every week and it keeps on catching them. Even my 5 year old son can pull arrows out. Great product

                  I see people complaining about this thing but they are shooting at it way too close. You should be shooting this at 30 yards minimum out to 50 yds. You should be able to hit bottle caps out to 25 yards or stay home, not in the woods.
