        I picked this rod up as a last resort, but now it's my favorite rod. I've cause about 70 fish this season 60 or so on this rod alone. It's great I got one for my title cousin for his first fishing pole. He throws it around smacks it off the ground pays with it like its a sword, and it's still together.

              this pole was a big let down for me. i bought it to pair p with my mitchell 300 (made in france not the newer ones) and the on the reel seat the foot holder at the handle was too small for the mitchell 300 to fit in. so had to return this pole without ever useing it

                The store agreed to replace my Quantum pole that broke a week after I bought it with this Shimano. I like it alot better than the one i originally bought. Very light weight & sensitive tip. I spent hours looking at rods in the store & you'd be hard pressed to find a pole as good as this in the same price range
