            I have many different models of shimano reels. I have really enjoyed this model since purchasing it. I see little or no difference between this and the Saros series which generally costs 30 dollars more. I paired this 3000 with a 7 foot medium light shimano crucial rod. I couldn't be happier with the reels performance.

              Good quality reel for a reasonable price. Not quite as smooth on the retrieve as some less expensive reels but the solid construction and line management features are great benefits. Spools and casts easily even with flourocarbon line. Confident I'll get many years of use from this reel.
