shimano The CI4 Carbon Interfusion Reel is made of a carbon fiber that's over 1-1/2 times stronger than normal XT-7 graphite and is over 20% lighter. Because it doesn't contain metal, it's impervious to rust. The strength and weight of CI4 results in an extremely lightweight reel with very precise tolerance. Also features Paladin Gear Durability Enhancement, Propulsion Line Management System, Aero Wrap II Oscillation, and shielded A-RB ball bearings. Aluminum spool and handle with round EVA handle grip. Waterproof Drag. Fluidrive II gearing. Dyna-Balance front end. Super Stopper II instant anti-reverse.

      This spinning reel is super light weight that it feels like I'm just fishing with the rod only. I can feel the slightest bit and this is a perfect fishing reel for fall or early spring walleye fishing when it's hard to detact a solf bit. Also the reel is so light weight that it doesn't strained my hand and shoulder for those long period of jigging.

      I fish mostly from shore at lakes and rivers here in fla I can cast where I need to and have a great balance from the reel itself .It'sd lightweight and very easy to use throughout the day

      Alright, i purchsed this reel not to long ago. IT IS THE BEST REEL ON THE WATER. smooth,but can handle fight, tough,but feels lighter than a golf ball. i love it. i do baby it alot.. but who wouldnt on a [$] reel. keep some reel oil on her and i dont see why it wont last for next season(s) only bad part. it did not come with a spare spool. other than that its simply an amzing reel

            Hard to beat! Extremely good product! Looks good, feels good. Wonderful product. If forced to register a complaint, its that the handle is cylindrical, and not a flatter paddle shape. My thumb and forefinger slip off occasionally,,,,I know, that's a weak complaint, but if you have one, you know what I'm talking about. Don't let it detour you.
