          bought this reel as a upgrade from what i had. very easy to use and a large jump up in performance!have already caught several catfish and strippers on this reel and it performed perfect!only problem i have now is all my friends want to use it.

            Mounted this reel on a heavy action musky rod, with 65lb. test braided line. Line guide moves with line on the cast, helping to keep line from fouling on the reel. Used it almost exclusively last year. Thousands of casts. Encountered no problems so far. Will cast a heavy plug 100' with 65lb. test line without backlashes as long as cast control is set properly.
