Comments about Shakespeare Ugly Stik Ultralight Spinning Combo:
I have had this rod for 3 years and used it every time I have gone inland fishing. I did need to replace the reel after 2 years of use, mostly because of abuse/negligence and leaving it in an uncovered truck bed. I replaced it with a similar reel (color was only difference I could find.) Incredible for bluegills, sunfish, and perch because of the sensitivity. I've also caught a few 4-5 pound bass on it with no trouble (from the rod or reel.) I've had another ultra light combo, was not as sensitive and the reel locked up on a small bass. This combo is the workhorse I use 2-3 days a week.
