I TROLL BY ROWBOAT ON RESERVIORS, THIS ROD SHOWS THE ACTION OF THE LURE much BETTER THAN ANY OTHER POLE I HAVE EVER TRIED.
WHEN CASTING FROM SHORE IT REALLY WIP'S THE LURE OUT, NEVER HAD ONE BRAKE ON ME.

My sticks have been Ugly for almost 60 years now and I've lost one tip (car door slammed on it) on the 20-rod collection I have ... I've seen (and purchased) more expensive rods but Ugly is the first stick that goes with me when I'm fishin' ... great rod, great action, great durability and a great price ... You can't beat Ugly.

This is a great rod, especially for the $$ output. I have other Ugly Stiks and 2 of them are over 35 yrs. old and still going. I broke this rod in by getting a "Texas Slam" (redfish, flounder, trout) the frist time I used it. Great value and great product!!!

Comments about Ugly Stik Freshwater Spinning Rod, 70", M, 2 pc.:

This rod is perfect for fishing trout in tight quarters, casting for walleye, pike, bass, carp, etc. Jigging for walleye, perch, etc. Very durable, no complaints! I've been beating up the same rod for 14 years trout fishing feeder creeks in thick brush and never had an issue. Casting accuracy is outstanding (with the right reel & line).
