            Comments about Shakespeare Ugly Stik 5'6" M-Action Casting Rod:

            I paired this ugly stik 5"6 with a Zebco Omega Pro reel. Very fun combo. I can pretty much put most lures right on target and the rod tip is sensitive enough to feel most strikes. Since my Zebco will only use mono-filament, and this combined with the medium action rod, I get plenty of pause before the hook-set resulting in a 90% hook rate. Great for beginners who want to jerk at anything that feels like a bite.

              I was first introduced to an Ugly stick when my dad owned one back in the late 70's early 80's. I can still remember him buying it at our local department store. This rod holds up to the reputation of its ancestor. Very sensitive and accurate casting. Plus its and Ugly Stick, What else do you need.
