The two-piece rods have a ferrule-less design that makes them as strong and stable as the one-piece rods. Black stainless steel frames and aluminum oxide insert guides. Ugly Tuff EVA grips with graphite twist-lock reel seats.

        I have used Shakespeare Ugly Stiks for 20 years and never had a problem with the products. Best value in my opinion. I prefer the one piece rods, but I do have two, 2 piece rods.
