Comments about Shakespeare Travel Mate Telescopic Casting Rod, 46":

My first impression was that it was cheap, as you might expect for the price. In use it has been fantastic! Plenty strong, action as good as any rod I have ever used. Ideal for light lures, adequate for medium. Very easy to set up/take down. I put this in my bike bag and hit the local ponds for bass.

very easy to use , I can put in my tackle box , cast very well , only small problem is with the rod is the tip section of the rod does not go back in if pulled a little hard. have three and would buy another .

I liked the slow action, but it never saw the water. I could not retract the tip section. It broke while I tried.
