      Comments about Shakespeare® Deceiver™ Low-Profile Baitcast Combo:

Just got this product yesterday and today I strung it up with 15 lb. spiderwire braided line. Went to a pond by my house and caught a few small (6 0z. - 1 lb.) bass, but then, i caught a nice, fat largemouth. Biggest bass i caught in my life! It weight 7 lb. Great rod and reel combo! Haven't had a problem yet!

I had this combo about a month and the worm gide broke. I did not have a receipt so there for the would not replace it. [...]Well I gess it was a was of money. The rod seams to be a little stiff for casting and it wont cast far with out backlaching. If going to bye this product pls for your sack keep your receipt.

                  Comments about Shakespeare® Deceiver™ Low-Profile Baitcast Combo:

My grandson bought this combo with his own money. Used it three times with Berkely XL 12 lb. test line. He got a 3 lb. pike on and it got into some weeds and the rod broke like a dry twig but the line didn't. I've fished for almost 60 years and have never had that happen, that line should have broken before the rod . What a cheap rod and what a way to ruin a kids fishing trip.
