I work outside for an living during winter, rain, sleet, or snow the clava never fails too keep me warm and my head dry. It's a snug fit on head but comfort does not drop off, only problem that I have with the product which is minor, is the short length of the neck area, still an great product recommend 100%

I am very satisfied with this product. It is extremely warm without being hot. It is wind resistant and effective at wicking moisture to keep skin dry. It also ventilates well to keep glasses wearers from getting glasses fogged from exhaled breath. Make sure you get the L/XL if you are male as the S/M size was too small and the clava fits tightly. I wore it for ~6 hours in 30 degree weather and 20 mph wind while hunting, and my head was the only part of my body that didn't get cold. I did some searching for pants or a shirt made of the same material that could be used as a base layer because it works quite well, but I was unsuccessful in my search. It works best when you aren't overly active because it is very effective at keeping the head warm, and you will overheat quickly if you are really exerting yourself. If you're going to be sitting for hours waiting for game in the freezing cold, this clava will keep you nice and warm. Outstanding product.
