Comments about Seal Line Baja Dry Bag:
I'm in the military and I bought this bag specifically to be used as a liner bag for my ruck sack. I used this bag for the last two weeks in the field, during which we had severe rains and did our "combat water survival training". Our rucks were completely submerged multiple times during this training and everything inside the SeaLine bag stayed perfectly dry.
Another plus to this bag is that, since it seals on itself, you can trap some air inside it and it will act as a flotation device.
The only negative I can think of is that if you don't fill it all the way up, the extra material on top does take up some additional space. This is really only an issue if space is a commodity (as in a ruck sack). Otherwise, this isn't a problem at all.
