Comments about ScentBlocker® XLT™ Head Cover:
I bought this at the end of the season for use next year. I wanted something Scent locked to mask my scent and cover my head. Fit's well, adjustable and light weight with a dickie long enough to tuck into your jacket. Since I've never used it in the field all I can say now is it appears to be a quality unit and I look forward to using it in the field.

Best head gear you ever found. Does the job I needed it to do. I recommend it to all my friends. Keeps you warm, blocks the scent, doesn't fog up your glasses. Perfect head gear for those cold days.

Comments about ScentBlocker® XLT™ Head Cover:
Absolutely a must have.
The "ear slits" significantly increase your ability to hear game walking in the leaves/brush, without allowing cold air in. This is one of the best features.
It's a moderate weight garment that takes the nip out of the weather. When it gets below freezing I add an additional layer ontop, but I continue to use the hood for its SPF scent reduction properties.
The side straps allow you to adjust the size of the hood to allow a snug fit or in my case a loose fit. Loose fit lets me pull down the front to use game calls. It's long enough to tuck into your jacket collar to seam the scent tight protection. The only reason for a 4 star is due to my suggestion that it should have a slit for your mouth, similar to the ears. That would aid in game calls, fresh air, while still having a carbon layer flap to help filter exhalation odors.
I lost mine this last season dragging a deer but will purchase another one very soon.
