Comments about ScentBlocker® Bone Collector™ Freak Nasty Jacket:
This jacket is good with any weather condition other than rain. I got the outfitter suit that I carry in my pack for rainy weather. The outfitter vest will fit in the freak nasty jacket, but the freak nasty vest I purchased has the safty harness slit(it's sold at scentblocker.com, or other numerous online scentblocker dealers). This jacket is oversized to allow adequate layering room underneath but cinches down tight in warm weather.I also like the silent wrist ratchet sleeves not nearly as noisy as the velcro on my other scentblocker outfits. If hunting In cold weather you should buy the vest and have qualty base and midlayer. Simply put Buy this and I guarentee you wont be disappointed it's the best all weather bowhunting jacket on the market.

Comments about ScentBlocker® Bone Collector™ Freak Nasty Jacket:
I've been wearing my Bone Collector set for several weeks of hunting. They are sized a little big, however this is good for base and insulating layers.
This is a very quiet, excellent design. I hunt from a treestand and am very impressed with it. The slit in the back allows me to wear my safety harness and feed the tree strap through the back slit.
Accessories include an insulated liner that I found difficult to find at local stores. I ended up buying a BoneCollector 3-in-1 parka for wet weather. It came with a liner, however the zippers are not compatable with each other.
All openings (wrists, waist, neck, zipper) are "scent-tight". I sat 10 yards from several doe who never scented me. The wind was at my back and blowing right to them, yet they never alerted. Just to test the product, I unzipped my jacket for a second and that was all it took. Away they ran.
This is light enough for early season in the 70-80 temps and can maintain your warmth into the 60's. Its roomy enough for several insullating layers.
ScentBlocker is a wonderful product, and the Bone Collector series is well worth the money for any serious hunters.
Other products I own and have field tested include the Bone Collector Pants, 3/4 fleece hood, whole piece hood, and parka. All are well worth it.

Q:
Will this jacket keep you warm in the winter monthsAsked on 9/30/2009 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
It's roomy enough to allow base and insulating layers. The jacket itself is not insulated and will not keep you warm in a tree stand once the temp gets into the low 60's.
With insullating base layers, the coldest I've bow hunted so far is the mid 30's. They do sell an optional fleece liner that zips into this jacket.Answered on 10/17/2009 by jwhisler from Texas
