Product Description
savage_arms From the accuracy experts at Savage comes the Model 10 and Model 110 BA, created for law-enforcement and chambered in the most trusted high-powered calibers. The reliable 110 action, the basis for the entire Savage line, uses a bolt with a plunger-type ejector passing through the bolt face. The 110's barrel is threaded into the receiver and fixed via a large locknut located just ahead of the receiver, with a recoil lug sandwiched between the two that allows barrels to be changed or headspace to be adjusted relatively easily. The 110 BA comes with a detachable box magazine. It has a black finish with an overall length of 45.5" and total weight of 13.4 lbs. A push-feed-style floating bolt head and the micro-adjustable Savage Accutrigger come standard.

Comments about Savage Arms Savage Model 110 BA Centerfire Rifle:

This is an excellent choice for the target shooter who is ready for something more. Easily capable of 1 mile shots, and very well made.
The very reasonable price is not the only desirable aspect of this rifle, its easy to clean, easy to use, and very forgiving of less experienced shooters. Not good for carrying while hunting, but for hunting from a position it makes a fine choice. With good optics, target use is spectacular, even at great distances, the accutrigger is a blessing. Just one Man's opinion.

Comments about Savage Arms Savage Model 110 BA Centerfire Rifle:

Out of the box the bolt is a little stiff, but after 50 rounds it breaks in. The magazine works excellent. The weight and the muzzle break really keep recoil down.

A big down side is the mags sell for $105 and they're in short supply. People with mags for sale are price gouging them and you might see them going for $135 to $150. Next down side is the ammo price, anything around a 30 cal bullet is more than a dollar a round or more. Lastly, It is a big gun and the case I needed for it doesn't fit in my trunk and it barely fits across the back seats of my car.

Positives- Its accuracy, I can easily hit a tennis ball all day at 300 yards. I never had a jam or miss feed. The rail system has a nice step down in it allowing you to keep the scope low and still get a 44MM scope mounted.

I wouldn't buy this rifle if you plan to hunt with it, it is to long and heavy. I would buy this rifle if you enjoy competition target shooting, or need a rifle that is accurate and reliable up to 1000 yards.

Overall you get a rifle that works like clock work and looks really cool!
