Product DescriptionPersonally designed by famous angler Dean Rojas, this hollow-bodied, all-purpose frog bait works well in a variety of environments-from thick cover to sparse grass and open water. Built around a specially designed, extra-strong Gamakatsu Double EWG Hook, the Bronzeye can stand up to strong rods and braided line with ease. Its razor-sharp hooks are pointed away from the frog's body for safe handling. The nose of the bait is anchored to the wire just behind the line-tie eye, which has been welded closed to keep your braid secure. Its super-soft plastic body collapses down completely when bitten for maximum hook exposure, ensuring solid hook-ups every time. Specially balanced with a molded-in weight, the Bronzeye casts long distances effortlessly and resists filling with water, ensuring an upright landing every time! Its weedless design is perfect for walking-the-dog in open water or chugging through heavy weeds. Living rubber legs kick wildly to grab the attention of bass all around and are secured inside the body so they will never pull out. These extra-long legs can be trimmed to further manipulate the frog's action to your preference. Available in a variety of proven, strike-enticing colors to cover every angling situation.
The Bronzeye Popper's concave face creates a loud popping sound that provokes lurking bass out of thick cover. Perfect for changing up your presentation and picking up all the fish the other guys missed throwing regular frog baits. Equipped with a 3/0 Gamakatsu Superline Double EWG hook. 2-3/8" long. 1/2 oz.

Q:I want to know how and where to fish it. I also want to know if it really worksAsked on 2/18/2010 by Bailey the fish man from Pittsburgh Pa
A:This lure works great for bass, especially if you are in thick weeds and everything you have is getting hung up. It is best if it is fairly calm. Throw it at cover-stumps, rocks, trees, etc. Be ready as soon as it hits the water because the bass often slam it immediately. If not, let it sit there a few seconds, give it a couple of twitches so it "pops." Then I reel it in a little bit, let it sit for a sec or two and twitch it again. Oh, and you MUST be patient. Do NOT set the hook right away when you see a fish slam it. Because it is weedless, and the hooks are snug to the body of the frog, if you set the hook early, you will pull it out of the fishes mouth more than 50% of the time. wait, then wait some more. It can be frustrating because sometimes I set too early and lose them and sometimes I wait too long and she spits it out. But, you get so much action, it is fun, and worth the missed hook sets. I hope this helps.Answered on 12/20/2010 by MonCul53 from Florida
