Ruger rimfire pistols are some of the most popular handguns made, with over three million sold. In many ways the Standard model is a groundbreaking design, lacking the slide found on conventional pistols. Instead, it sports a cylindrical bolt which cycles inside a tubular receiver in a manner more characteristic of a rimfire rifle. The bolt of the pistol features protruding "ears" at its rear which are grasped and pulled rearward to feed the initial round and cock the action. The comfortable, Luger-style Mark I grip allows for the perfect angle of fire. This double-action-only target pistol features a blade front sight with a fixed rear notch, a 2-position safety, and a 10-round magazine and comes with the original factory box. Its grips and metal are in good condition and its bore is in very good condition.
