Comments about Ruger® SR40c™ Handgun:
My wonderful father bought the SR40C for me for my 27th birthday. As a woman with a smaller hand I really had far fewer options for a firearm. I tried out the Glock 23, too large. Then I tried the Glock 27, too small. This Ruger fit just right, as soon as I picked it up I felt comfortable with it.
I've had it out to the range and really like how it shoots. It was sighted in perfectly from the factory so I did not have to change anything. I do prefer the 9 round magazine over the 15, just easier to handle IMO. I did have the last round of one magazine unseat but I don't think that will be an issue after cleaning and lubing. Overall... GREAT GUN!

I own several handguns and now this is my favorite. I have put about 500 rds through this already with no problems at all. Very accurate easy to clean, just an overall great weapon.

Comments about Ruger® SR40c™ Handgun:
The Ruger SR40c is a great gun! It fits great in your hand, and shoots like a charm right out of the box. I put 100 rounds through it with no issues. It is small enough to conceal; however, the extended mag instantly turns it into a full size weapon. Also, field stripping is almost too easy. I thought the trigger was a little gritty, but it still felt great! The most important thing is that this weapon comes at a great price point. Keep em' coming Ruger!

Comments about Ruger® SR40c™ Handgun:
I bought this gun after a great deal of research on it. This gun is good to carry concealed. First day out to range with it I no problems with it after shooting 30 rounds. The next time I took weapon out the upper cam pin started to come out and it was really loose. I was displease that this is happening on a new gun. I called Ruger and they are servicing the weapon at no charge. I am waiting to get weapon back to see if this happens again.

Comments about Ruger® SR40c™ Handgun:
I've had this to the range a few times and shot about 150 rounds through it. The first time out I had a few rounds not seat properly which prevented cocking the trigger. I stripped it down when I got home and lubricated it throughout and no problems since. The recoil is really good considering the caliber so it's fun to shoot. It comes with extensions for the clips to make it easier to hold and a reversible grip to fit your palm better. I also like the fully adjustable rear sight, too. It took a few tweaks to the sight but hitting a lot closer now. I wish the trigger was lighter which may be leading to my inaccuracy but state law is what it is. Overall it's a great gun and I doubt that you will be disappointed.

Comments about Ruger® SR40c™ Handgun:
Being a new gun owner, the safety features on this model were the most important thing to me.
I have ran 250 rounds through it at a local range with some experenced friends over the last couple days with no issues.
One of them is now looking at one for himself.
If I knew what a "5" was it may have scored one.
The guys in the Toledo store were GREAT to work with!
