Comments about Ruger SR22 Handgun:
This is one of those guns that as soon as you pick it up & feel it "fit" right into your hand, you know immediately your going to buy it!
Since ammo is in such short supply I took all my old ammo mixed boxes out to try.
The SR22 ate them all with no problems, except for the subsonics (of course), and a couple of dud rounds.
I see a couple people posted about it being picky, I can only assume its from mass production.
Accuracy is great, although I have seen where some have had to adjust their sights, mine was right on.
A couple of cautions, be careful getting the grip off and on, as it can pinch your hand when installing the extra grip. Also when switching the magazine feet, be sure to hold the spring retainers from flying out!

Comments about Ruger SR22 Handgun:
It just feels terrific in your hand, very balanced. It feeds and cycles so smooth it is just a treat to shoot. After shooting this little beauty no one wanted to shoot any of the other 22 pistols I have. I have four daughters and we all go shooting 22 pistols because of the price of ammo. And they are just fun to shoot. Now it is more fun. I will have to try to trade off the old pistols and replace them with more of the SR22's.

Comments about Ruger SR22 Handgun:
My wife and I both purchased Ruger SR22s to supplement our Glock 17s. We were looking for a less expensive pistol to shoot and one that would allow my wife to focus more on trigger control and other fundamentals without the distraction of a heavier recoil.
In the box were 2 magazines with two extensions that could be attached to lengthen them, a smaller slip-on grip (we didn't find it necessary for our hands), a Ruger lock, a soft pouch & a detailed handbook.
We spent a couple of hours at the range shooting about 150 rounds each. We had some PMC Zapper and some Remington Golden Bullet ammunition. 3-4 misfires with the PMC and 1 with the Remington. At 7 yds, two handed grip, we got very good accuracy. Punching out the 9 & 10 rings fairly consistently.
Others have commented about the fact that the safety is pushed up to fire and down to safe - that's inconsistent with other handguns I own. We also found the magazine release to be both very stiff and a little too small. I'd like to see a larger button.
Overall we are very pleased that these pistols are doing exactly what we bought them for.

Comments about Ruger SR22 Handgun:
Bought this pistol for target shooting, and as a possible personal carry weapon. Great all around pistol...fires any .22 ammunition I feed it, without a single malfunction so far. The two magazines are a nice bonus. I also like the added magazine-in safety and the heavy duty lock for storage. Cleaning is also a breeze. The thumb safety takes some getting used to, as you flip it up to fire...but after a while I didn't even notice it.
Great pistol for new pistol shooters or anyone looking to have fun plinking. I Would highly recommend the SR22
