I have fired many different 9mms, and the Ruger P95 is the best 9mm for the money, hands down. Reliable, accurate, easy to field strip, this pistol is fantastic. It is a little bulkier, so if you are looking for a CCW, you will probably want to look at Ruger's compact line.

I bought the P95 in September, It is now April and it is being sent back to the factory for the second time. It jams all the time no matter what ammo you use. Out of my three pistols this was the biggest waste of money and time. It more sggervation than what it is worth. Be smart and buy a Berreta.

Comments about Ruger P95 Handgun:
The P95 is a solid well made gun that is very accurate and reliable. I have a P95 and a nd a p345 both of which have never had a fail to fire and are easy to clean and maintain. The decocker on both of them comes in handy. The guns runs very smooth and is no aggressive for a beginner user to use or a avid user to take to the range. I would highly recommend the P95 to anyone looking to buy a 9mm handgun.

Comments about Ruger P95 Handgun:
This was an all-around great purchase. The P95 is just as good if not better than any other 9mm handgun. I have shot several diffent 9mm handguns and the P95 remains my favorite for several reasons. One of my favorite reasons is the safety/decocker. It is a must-have safety feature that I don't skip out on when purchasing new guns. The P95 performs flawlessly when maintained properly. I have shot approximately 200 rounds through it so far with no jams or issues at all. Disassembly and cleaning is very easy as the P95 disassembles into only five parts. The sights are very easy to use and the overall accuracy is spot on. Both the magazine release and the safety are ambidextrous. Another great feature of the P95 is the high compacity magazine (15). It allows for peace of mind knowing there should be plenty of ammo ready to go in case you ever find yourself needing this handgun for self defense. There really isn't anything negative to say about this handgun.
I feel very confident using my P95 at the local indoor range and for home defense. You won't be disappointed.

This is an amazing gun. 50 rounds or so for break in then its off to the races!
The p95 has a very solid feel and an amazingly short trigger pull in Double Action.

Comments about Ruger P95 Handgun:
This was actually the first gun I've ever owned. This gun is so easy to use, Ruger makes a great product and they stand behind it to. This gun was built like a TANK it just gobbles up ammo and spits it right out. I've shot thousands of rounds and I literally don't see any wear and tear. Has only jammed one time on me but was because the slide was bone dry and I think I was over three hundred rounds that day. Its nice that Ruger supplies a case and two mags along with a loading tool. This gun helped me decide which gun manufacturer to buy my CCW from. My buddy owns a Glock and he actually liked shooting my P95 better then his Glock for what its worth and hes in law enforcement.

Comments about Ruger P95 Handgun:
This is a great pistol to take to the range. I've shot several hundred rounds through mine without any failures. It is very accurate and a great gun for the money. The only drawback I can think of is its size. If you are looking for a CCW, this probably not the best choice. I use mine just have fun at the range so the large frame doesn't bother me. It also very easy to take down and clean. I bought mine with a stainless steel slide, which I think makes look better. Great overall gun.

Comments about Ruger P95 Handgun:
I purchased the P95DC a number of years ago when they first came out. Mine has a polymer frame and stainless slide. Very easy to field strip/clean. I reload for this and a number of other firearms and this one is pretty easy to reload for, although you need to crimp the rounds for this firearm since it's a semi-auto. When they say 25 yr track record of reliability they mean it. Ruger builds them right.

Comments about Ruger P95 Handgun:
I looked at a lot of different hand guns and didn't like all the plastic triggers. Saw the P95 and knew that was it. I've put a few hundred rounds through it with no problems.
