Product Description
ruger With a 25 year track record of reliability, durability and performance in the field, P-Series pistols are simple, economical, and serviceable and can be counted on to perform in adverse conditions. The P345 is designed to be easily maintained and can be field-stripped into five major subassemblies for cleaning, without the need for special tools. Its black, custom-compounded polymer grip frame has a built-in picatinny rail to accept modern lights and lasers to keep your sighting options open and also features contoured and checkered grip panels, front-strap, and backstrap. The P345's high-visibility 3-dot sight system is drift adjustable on both the front and the rear for faster, more precise target acquisition while its manual safety is ambidextrous and within easy reach of either thumb. Its rugged slide is made of Ruger's proprietary Terhune Anticorro stainless steel. Two 8-round magazines and a hard plastic case included.

        This gun shoots very nice, when it works. Here is the issue I am having:

        When I first got the gun 1 out of every 25 rounds would not fire due to the pin not striking the primer with enough force, or not at all. Sent it back to Ruger for repair. Now it is 2 out of every clip, same problem but worse. Sent it back to Ruger and now I'll wait and see. Hope Ruger does not let me down on this time, but felt I should warn others about this potential issue.

        I use the gun for home defense
        If You have big hands, You'll know you have a gun in your hand.
        Not a great conceal & carry weapon, but on the other hand, if I could find a way to conceal carry it, I would definitely feel safe!I plan on buying another, just like it.

        I love my Ruger P345,its easy to use,easy to clean,very dependable,and quality built handgun. It will take a licking and keep on ticking! Its very loud, so be sure to wear hearing protection as with all guns! My Brother had bought a Tarus .45 acp auto a week before I bought my Ruger P345 and the first day we went target shooting and I let him shot mine he said he wished he had spent the extra money and purchased a Ruger like mine because of its overall performance and because of how accurate mine was compared to his Tarus. I've had no problems at all with my Ruger P345 and I'll buy another one for sure!

              i love the gun. but i wish they had some kinda of up and down adjustment on the sights they do have left and right+.. i have had a jam but due to week mag springs ruger sells them for 3.50 so cheep easy fix
