Product Description
ruger The Ruger Lightweight Compact Revolver, a 13.5 ounce, small frame revolver with a smooth, easy-to-control trigger and highly manageable recoil is packed with the latest technological advances and features required by today's most demanding shooters. The LCR is built on a monolithic frame, which supports cylinder and barrel and is made from aerospace grade, 7000 series aluminum in the standard LCR and 500 series stainless steel in the LCR-357 model. Ruger's patent pending polymer fire control housing holds all the fire control components in their proper dimensional relationships, reducing weight significantly, and helps reduce recoil. The exclusive friction reducing cam is a next generation design in fire control systems with an optimized cam that rests in a smooth, non-stacking trigger pull. The high-strength stainless steel cylinder is extensively fluted to reduce weight and features an Ionbond Diamondblack finish for excellent durability. With the LCR's unique grip peg, a variety of grip styles can be installed, leaving ample room for recoil cushioning.

        Comments about Ruger LCR Handgun:

Wife bought this in .38 spcl for conceal carry. The trigger pull was much lighter and smoother than the .22 was. She is a very small woman and this pistol fits her hands like a glove. Right out of the box she was 5 for 5 in a 3" bulls eye @ 7 yards using 130 grain fmj Independence. After 50 rds she switched to Remington +P 125gr. bjhp home defense and still had no problem with recoil.

          Comments about Ruger LCR Handgun:

I just bought the Ruger LCR in 357 mag. This gun is a joy to shoot. The trigger is amazing for double action. I was shooting dead center at 25 feet. At 25 yards I hit a target the size of a five gallon pail lid 24 out of 25 times.
I have never been impressed with Ruger triggers before but this one is like butter. My brother has a very similar Smith and Wesson. The ruger is way better.

            Comments about Ruger LCR Handgun:

I bought this as a casual plinker but was very surprised how well it shot.My wife loves it and I think she will end up carrying it on occasion.I know most would carry bigger caliber but rather she have something she is comfortable shooting and carrying than have nothing.Great shooter might get another one!
