Got my Ruger LCP with Lazermax and it's great. I like it better then Crimson because you can manually turn on and off the lazer and you get the full grip, no button like on crimson to get in your way or to accidentally go off. I have now put 300 rounds of winchester white box through it with no issues. Take down is simple and easy to clean. Mag release is indented unlike Kel-tech so you don't drop the mag while firing. The gun is the size of my wallet and is as thick as my cell phone (HTC Pure candy bar style) I attached a picture so you can see the size. It does have a little kick but with the lazer I can group 8 inch shoots from 25 yards, and I'm not a very good shot! The problem is when I shoot I can only get two fingers on the grip not my pinky so it tends to jump up a little in my palm. So I needed a better grip and decided to look for one. I found a few options I could get an extended mag from Promag that has a 10 or 15 round clip but looks funny in the gun as it does not extend the butt (looks like a mag just hanging out the bottom). I also found a plus one foot for the mag that adds an extra bullet in the foot but heard that it does not come with a new spring for the mag resulting in some loading issues but does extend the butt. I then found a guy on an auction site that sells a 1.5 inch foot for the mag that does not add a plus 1 (extra bullet) so it keeps the gun at 6+1 stock but extends the grip, so I ordered it. I love the new extension, I can get my whole hand on it now and it hardly adds any weight to the gun and still small enough to conceal. Now for the next issue the sights, they are very hard to see, they are low so not to catch on anything but are accurate. Most people have fixed this issue by 3 dots of nail polish (I opted for a hunters orange, two dots in the back and one up front) and WOW I can site the gun just fine now (see the video review). The gun also does not have a last round slide hold open to know when your out of ammo, but I found that was no big deal (would have been a nice if Ruger would have included it). Also if you read about the recalls for the guns firing if dropped the new models are fixed and the old ones recalled and fixed at Rugers Expense (Ruger is made in USA and are stand up folks in my book). The gun also has no safety because the safety is built into the long trigger pull, so if you carry the gun get a holster that covers the trigger (I'm confident that it will not ascendantly go off but I also would not carry with one in the chamber JMO). All in all this is a super great gun smaller and lighter then the LC9 and nicer looking then the Kel-tech. I made the right choice for a home defense and CCW gun. There is a reason this is a top rated gun.

Great for personal defense. After research it was the weapon I wanted. Couldn't find it anywhere until I found it online at Gander Mountain. Will look there first for any future needs.
