Comments about Ruger American Rifle Centerfire Rifle:
ruger 30-06 -the nice thing was it don't cost much- got the Nikon pro staff riflescope 2-7x32 and plus mounts--it's good for the place I hunt--it will let me shoot 100 till 300 yards with that scope- if I need to shoot longer- I would get new scope-maybe a 3-9x40--4.5-14x40 -three boxes of shells 2 of 160 and 1 of 180 grain-- new sling --new hoppes bore snake rifle cleaning kit-- new oversized hard case-- and when you buy a ruger they send you a free cheekpad it nice if you need it-- because the only thing that is wrong was that Ruger made the butt stock to low if you don't need it you can give it too someone--that's cool of Ruger to do--it's a all in one rifle 30-06 will put down just about anything around the U.S and it didn't cost to much less then $650.00 for all the things I got-- don't think it was all that bad- you can get a better deal on line but it was all there--and the staff was real good to me-- it is my first rifle from there so all is good thanks-- bought for a great chirstmas present

Comments about Ruger American Rifle Centerfire Rifle:
I got this rifle when it arrived in 243. Put a Nikon Prostaff scope on it and sighted it in. This rifle is a shooter and will keep them inside 1 inch at 100 yds. The trigger Ruger developed for this rifle helps you shoot those tight groups you love to shoot. I like that Ruger put the safty where you can easily reach it. This rifle won't win any beauty contest but its not one you will worry about draggng around with you.

Comments about Ruger American Rifle Centerfire Rifle:
I was pleasently surprised by this gun. It shoots extremely accurately and has all the features of rifles costing twice as much. It was well designed with alot influence from actual hunters. The safety is within easy reach. The trigger is adjustable and has no creep. The rotary magazine has room for 4 catridges and is flush with the stock. The weight of the gun is perfect for hunting. This gun is well worth the price!
