P89 pistols below s/n 304-70000 use different mag part no's than s/n's 304-70000 inclusive and above. Product appears to be KP18/15 (higher P89 s/n) or KP15/15 (lower P89 s/n). The K prefix denotes stainless steel vs. blued steel. A durability and maintenance advantage when it comes to corrosive use such as humid salty environments. I don't know what Ruger changed, maybe the mag latch location.

This is definitely a Ruger factory magazine. It will fit the specified gun. However, the item description indicates it is blued. IT IS NOT BLUED!

This is the original magazine that Ruger creates and ships with their pistols. Ganders website doesnt list this, but it does fit the P95's as well. Actually the Ruger P89, P93, P94, P95 & PC9. It is Stainless as pictured, not blued.
