Comments about Rossi Tuffy Shotgun:
It's really fun to shoot. One of the comments mentioned recoil as being bad. I own a .357 mag pistol, 7mm mag rifle, 12 GA shotgun, 22 rifle and 270 rifle. This gun is the lightest recoil second only to the .22. I fired 3" mags this morning, and those loads put a shock to my wrist like the .357 magnum...which to me is not bad.
I fire this gun like a pistol, mostly. It is excellent for smaller birds like quail and grouse, since my 12 GA obliterates them.
I have also had a good experience with the shell ejection. It pops 2.5" shot shells out past my shoulder a few yards away. The 3" shells pop out about 1/2 way, but are easy to grab and remove.
From reviews I have been reading about several of Rossi's firearm models is that they don't seem to have very good quality control in their mfg process. In other words, if you get a good one, you have a great gun, but if you get a lemon, dealing with Rossi for a repair or replacement apparently is a pain. Fortunately for me, I got a good one, and I give it 5* !

Comments about Rossi Tuffy Shotgun:
gun is accurate, easy to carry. however the gun has no recoil pad at all and it kicks like a mule. My 8 and 10 year old kids refuse to use the gun after there first shot. which I understood why after I shot the gun and was starting to get a red mark after two shots. It has way to much kick for beginners
