These shotguns include a spur hammer, transfer bar safety action and an integral linkage system that prevents the action from opening or closing when the hammer is cocked. The safety functions are perfect for beginners. Each is a reliable, lightweight gun easily carried throughout an entire day in the field. These full-size shotguns feature a spur hammer, a transfer bar action, and an integral linkage system that prevents the action from opening or closing when the hammer is cocked. All feature the Rossi trademark crisp trigger pull and are available with either a full or modified choke. Wide, powerful ejectors eliminate lost time removing spent hulls or unfired shells without compromising safety. The five pound 12 gauge Single Shot accepts 2-3/4 inch or 3 inch shells in either standard or magnum. 28" blued barrel on a black synthetic stock. Modified choke.

        Great gun for going out to the range with. I picked it up just for fun and it works great! Lightweight, easy to use, durable and using buckshot at 30 yards it still holds a pretty tight pattern. I put it through the durability paces with water, sand, mud and all that and after picking it up it still shot true and smooth! Even though its a single shot I still have it handy for home defense just in case, but all around a great gun and fun to shoot!

          Great inexpensive, light weight single shot. I just needed a gun I could use for dog training and trialing, one that I could kick around the bottom of a skiff and not worry about damaging. This is the gun for that purpose!
