Comments about Rossi® Single Shot Heavy Barrel Centerfire Rifle:
Bought this for my wife, she is 4'11 and needs a youth model. I also liked the safety features of the single shot. This was for my wifes first deer hunt, she is a good shot, and has practiced a lot with my .22 and 223. We took this Piece of junk out, and neither her or I could even bought it on the paper at 100 yds. Brought the target in to 50, same thing, not even on a 4x4 target! Brought it into 25 yards, still not even on the paper! (this was with bore sighting) Finaly figured out where it was hitting, and adjusted the scope. Best I or my wife could do was about 10" groups at 25yds! Tried some lighter rounds (started with 100gr Federals) went to 90 grain feds, and the groups tightened up to 6 inches...at 25yds! Complete junk. Save your money and get something better.

Comments about Rossi® Single Shot Heavy Barrel Centerfire Rifle:
Great gun for my wife and kids. My 9 year old daughter was surprised she could easily fire this gun and it did not kick too much. My wife and kids are looking forward to this hunting season, their first chance to take a deer.

Comments about Rossi® Single Shot Heavy Barrel Centerfire Rifle:
the gun may be called a youth model, but stock is
to long for youth to sholder properly. I am 6ft
tall 245 lbs and stock fits me. suggestion dont order online have store get one, and have your
youth sholder before buying. also try the h&r
handi rifle youth model stock is more suited.

Comments about Rossi® Single Shot Heavy Barrel Centerfire Rifle:
I purchased this firearm for my 9 year old son as a Christmas gift. Tried 4-5 different factory loads with different bullet weights and couldn't find any to group any better than 8 inches at 25 yards. At 100 yards, who knows where the bullet was going. Sent it back to Rossi. They sent it back to me with the same group at 25 yards and stated that there was no problem with the firearm. Too bad for them cause I will never purchase another one of their products nor will I recommend this junk to anyone introducing their child to hunting.
