Comments about Rossi® R92 Centerfire Rifle:

Purchased this for cowboy action shooting. Main draw was style and price. Straight out of the box it was way too stiff for timed competition. Heavy cleaning and oiling helped enough for first match. Since then it has had a lot of smoothing, polishing, and spring work, all easily done at home with online videos. Now it can race against the best. I plan to buy another for a back-up very soon.

Comments about Rossi® R92 Centerfire Rifle:

Best rifle I've found for deer and hogs in heavy cover. It's light, handy, and more accurate than I am. There are some places where a scoped bolt-gun just won't work, and inside 100 yards, this is the ticket. I've worked up a safe, but effective handload that is great on medium-sized big game (whitetails and wild pigs under 300 pounds or so). The only complaint is the steel buttplate, which looks neat, but does nothing for the considerable recoil from +P loads.

Comments about Rossi® R92 Centerfire Rifle:

Don't waste your money on this one. Purchased a Rossi model 92 in 44 magnum an it shot 14 inches high at 50 yards. Had to send it back to Rossi .
